On Thursday 2^nd March it was World Book Day.  We celebrated it by listening to the story Michael Recycle. He is a superhero who helped to save a town by teaching the people who live there about recycling.  This fitted really well as we have just begun our Theme of Superheroes.

 In the afternoon, we used a variety of recyclable materials to create our own superhero costumes.  The children had a great time being imaginative and creative.  They helped and supported one another and had lots of fun. 

We made capes, head bands, masks, and a variety of gadgets that superheroes would have.

It was great fun!
