The
Faraway Tree
As well as reading our own books in 2D, we also like listening to stories that are read to us. The book we are enjoying at the moment is The Enchanted Wood which is the first story in the Faraway Tree series by Enid Blyton.
It’s about Joe, Beth and Frannie who move to a new home and find an Enchanted Wood on their doorstep. Their magical adventures begin when they discover the Faraway Tree.
We love hearing about their new friends Moonface, Saucepan Man and Silky the Fairy as, together, they investigate which new land is at the top of this very special tree. In fact, we love it so much that we invented some lands of our own.
