Cricket Tournament
On the afternoon of Friday 15th June four schools (Bursar, Old Clee, Thrunscoe and St Peters) brought three cricket teams to Lisle Marsden school field to participate in a cricket tournament. Each school provided three teams who played on one of 6 pitches. There were approximately 150 taking part overall. The winners on each pitch are as follows: Pitch 1 – Old Clee Team B, Pitch 2 – Bursar Team D, Pitch 3 Lisle Marsden Team G, Pitch 4 Lisle Marsden Team K, Pitch 5 – Bursar Team O.
After adding the amount of runs from each school, Old Clee won overall with Lisle Marsden in second place. The tournament was a great opportunity for those less confident players to learn how to play and develop their skills as well as allowing the more competent players to shine! A great afternoon, attitude, behaviour and effort. Well done everyone!
