Value for this Half Term- Friendship

Our Value for this half term is Friendship. We thought about what Friendship is…

“Friendship is a precious gift. Everyone wants to have friends. If we are fortunate, we will have a group of close friends, people with whom we can share our lives. However, sometimes, things go wrong. There can be disagreements that lead to friends falling out and maybe not talking to each other altogether.”

In the Bible, there are many stories about friendship. One of these stories is found in 1 Samuel – it is the story of David and Jonathan.

We thought about this story and we thought about what values a true friend brings to a friendship.

We created arrows to represent the values we discussed that a true friend brings to a friendship. For example, kindness, respect, caring.

These are now displayed around our Christian School Board to ensure we reflect on this value throughout this half term
