Recorders

In 4B we have been learning to play the recorders for our music this half term.

Before we started to play the recorder, we enjoyed learning all about different musical instruments and the history of the recorder. Did you know Henry VIII played the recorder?

We have also learnt all about our posture and how we should hold our recorder. It is also important to know about pulse, rhythm, pace and pitch to be able to play properly.

We have been working hard with Mrs Booth and have just started to learn to play. We cannot wait to learn to play different musical pieces.
