Lisle Marsden Church of England Primary Academy wishes to recruit a high quality Teaching Assistant to join its committed hard working team of classroom support staff.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate individual who is interested in supporting pupils to learn effectively and to have a positive impact upon pupil outcomes.
The post is available to support a pupil in Key Stage 2 with Down’s Syndrome, and implement the child’s Education Health and Care Plan. The post holder will deliver learning through a combination of 1-2-1 and small group support, both within and outside of the classroom, to enable the pupil to learn effectively, as well as enabling inclusion through accessing the curriculum in whole class learning. This will include delivering bespoke interventions and adapting learning to suit the needs of the pupil. The successful candidate will also be required to work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external agencies in order to continually review and monitor provision and progress.

Supporting independence will sometimes involve working on other tasks or with other children, at the class teacher’s discretion.
