Earth Day 2023

To celebrate Earth Day 2023, our collective worship big question was 'How can we invest in our planet?'. Over the Easter holidays we set Lisle Marsden children and their families a project to demonstrate how they invest in our planet. During collective worship we explored our God given role as caretakers of creation and changes we need to make to sustain our world.

We had a fantastic response to our Earth Day project and each child that entered has received a certificate. Some children were selected to win an eco-friendly prize for their projects which included: building bug hotels, building and planting vegetable patches in their gardens (all from recycled materials), litter picking, recycling and much more! We are very proud at Lisle Marsden to be eco warriors!
